3Penny Chorus and Orchestra was a choir and orchestra from season eight of America's Got Talent. The group was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.


3Penny is a volunteer chorus and orchestra in New Haven, Connecticut. The group's volunteers have professions that range from musicians and teachers to pastors and doctors. They perform classical music – with a twist! Their love for music spans from Bach to Carly Rae Jepsen. [1]

3Penny Chorus and Orchestra's audition in Episode 801 consisted of performing an orchestral version of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending the group to the Vegas Round.

3Penny Chorus and Orchestra's Week 4 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 816 consisted of performing an orchestral version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." The group did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 817, eliminating it from the competition instead of Cami Bradley.
