Aerosphere Aerial Balloon Show was an aerialist in Season 8 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
Seventh-generation circus performer John Nock, his aerialist wife, Alexandra, and their high school son, Andrew, present the Aerosphere Aerial Balloon Show act. John Nock is an older brother of noted daredevil and clown Bello Nock, and part of a long line of Nock family circus artists. John Nock said he invented the aerosphere around 2000 and performed with it at numerous corporate events for several years. He has focused more on running and producing circus acts around the world but recently refocused attention on the balloon act. 1
Audition[]
Aerosphere's audition in Episode 806 consisted of an aerial performance using giant helium balloons to support an attached aerialist. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and possibly Mel B voted "Yes," sending the act to the Vegas Round.
Vegas Round[]
Aerosphere was one of thirty acts to advance straight to the Quarterfinals in New York without performing in Las Vegas in Episode 808.
Quarterfinals[]
AeroSphere Aerial Balloon Show' Week 3 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 814 consisted of performing acrobatic manuevers from a trapeze attached to a hot air balloon 50 feet in the air. At one point, the acrobat on the trapeze lifted another acrobat from the ground. The act did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 815, eliminating it from the competition along with David "The Cobra Kid" Weathers and Illusionist Leon Etienne and Romy Low.
