Aiko Tanaka was a comedian from Season 17 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background[]

Aiko was born in Tokyo, but currently resides in Los Angeles. She has been featured in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Comedy Central's Stand-Up Asia Live" special.

Aiko Tanaka's Semifinals performance in Episode 1712 consisted of performing stand-up comedy about her Japanese accent, the difficulties of English, compliments, social awkwardness and self-help books. Howie Mandel gave her a standing ovation. She did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 5 of the night in Episode 1713, eliminating her from the competition along with Mr. Pants instead of Yu Hojin.
