Alesha Dixon is a British singer, dancer, model and TV personality best known for being one of the judges on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Champions 2.
Background[]
Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born October 7, 1978) came to fame in 2001 as part of the British girl group Mis-Teeq. She stayed with the group until its disbandment in 2006 and she recorded her first solo album around the same time, however it was a commercial disappointment.
In 2007, she won the fifth series of Strictly Come Dancing and became a judge on the show for three more seasons from 2009 to 2011 before quitting at the end of the ninth series to join the judging panel on Britain's Got Talent, where she has been ever since. She has also been apart of the judging panel for Australia’s Got Talent since 2022.
As a TV presenter, she has hosted shows such as Your Face Sounds Familiar, Text Santa, Dance Dance Dance and recently The Greatest Dancer. On February 22, 2023, the BBC announced that she would be one of the presenters of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool together with Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, Ukrainian rock singer Julia Sanina, and the United Kingdom's Eurovision commentator Graham Norton.
