Alexander Ostrovski was a trumpetist from Season 16 of America's Got Talent.
Background[]
Ostrovskiy hails from the Ukraine. In 2012, he auditioned for Ukraine's Got Talent. In 2018, he auditioned for Romania's Got Talent as Alex Ostrovskiy, with a foot puppet show however it is likely that he failed to reach the following round. [1]
In 2019, he auditioned for Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales, once again as Alex Ostrovskiy however he failed to reach the following round. [2]In 2020, he auditioned for 'Britain's Got Talent' as Birds of Paradise wherein he advanced onto the deliberations before being eliminated. The fact that Birds of Paradise and Ostrovskiy are the same person can be evidenced by the fact that both his AGT audition has been uploaded on his personal YouTube channel and two videos revolving around the puppets from Birds of Paradise are uploaded there and the fact that he performed the Birds of Paradise act on Tu Si Que Vales, yet it is unclear as to why AGT misspelt his name as Ostrovski rather than Ostrovskyi.
Audition[]
Alexander Ostrovski's audition in Episode 1606 consisted of playing the trumpet to "The Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston. Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara buzzed the act. Although, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell voted "Yes". Heidi and Sofia voted "No", eliminating Alexander from the competition.
