Alicia Michilli was a singer from Season 10 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background[]

Alicia Michilli is a R&B/Soul artist from Detroit, Michigan. This Nashville transplant was raised on the Detroit Motown sounds and it’s undisguised in her music. Her echo those of her idols  such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday. After years of performing around Michigan and writing original material, Alicia decided to check out Nashville’s music scene.

With confidence, she quickly gained the attention and support of many fellow writers and performers. She has recently teamed up with her long time hero, Keb’ Mo’ for his monthly Blues Jam at The Fontanel in Nashville, TN. Alicia released her self titled EP in 2015. It is available on Itunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.[1]

Audition[]

Alicia Michilli's audition in Episode 1002 consisted of singing Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind." Howard SternHeidi KlumMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Alicia to the Judge Cuts round.

Judge Cuts[]

Alicia Michilli's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1011 consisted of singing The Miracles' "Who's Lovin' You." Alicia's performance was strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

Alicia Michilli's Week 3 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1016 consisted of singing Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell on You." Heidi Klum gave her a standing ovation. Alicia received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 1017 instead of Chapkis Dance Family.

Semifinals[]

Alicia Michilli's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 1020 consisted of singing Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine." Howie Mandel gave her a standing ovation. Alicia did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Finals in Episode 1021, eliminating her from the competition instead of The Professional Regurgitator.
