America's Got Talent Wiki

Anica was a singer from Season 16 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Anica is a Canadian singer residing in New Brunswick. Growing up in nine foster homes, she was unaware of her talent until age 12, when her last foster family noticed her musical ability and gifted her with a guitar for Christmas. Since then, she has performed across Canada playing concerts and festivals with her guitar, harmonica, bass and mandolin. She also works as a realtor, and when she's not performing on stage, Anica is creating a rock musical called "Deception" that she hopes to get on Broadway.

Anica's audition in Episode 1608 consisted of singing "Piece Of My Heart" by Janis Joplin. Although, Simon voted "No". Sofia, Heidi & Howie voted "Yes" sending her to the next round.

Anica was chosen to advance to the Top 36.

Anica's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1613 consisted of singing Bishop Briggs' "River". Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara gave her standing ovations. She did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1614, eliminating her from the competition instead of Brooke Simpson and World Taekwondo Demonstration Team.
