Anna Christine is a singer and pianist act from Season 8 of America's Got Talent.

Background

Anna Christine was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the age of five, Anna discovered a love of music and singing. Around age eight, her mother, an avid music lover herself, heard Anna's deeply soulful voice, unusual control and near perfect pitch and knew that her daughter was destined to be a serious vocalist. Equipped with an understanding of the connection between emotion and music, Anna's original compositions reflect her mature "old soul" with hauntingly beautiful melodies and undertones. 1

Quarterfinals

Anna Christine's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 810 consisted of singing "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" while playing the piano. She finished in either fourth or fifth place in America's Vote, as revealed in Episode 811. In the Judges' Choice, although Howard Stern and Heidi Klum voted for her, Mel B and Howie Mandel did not, forcing a tiebreaker; whichever act received more votes from America would progress. Anna received more votes than American Hitmen, sending her to the Semifinals.
