Ashes & Arrows was a band from Season 19 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background[]

The band hails from Asheville, North Carolina. They work alongside one another to make their own music. They explained that the message behind their audition song was that the human race weren’t born to struggle during the duration of their lives but were instead born to love others.

Audition[]

Ashes & Arrows' audition in Episode 1902 consisted of performing their original song “Born To Love”. Although Howie Mandel voted "No", Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.

Deliberations[]

The group was selected to advance to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

Ashes & Arrows' Quarterfinal performance in Episode 1909 consisted of performing their original song "Wild Horses". Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations. They received enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1910 instead of Arshiya, and advanced to the Semifinal along with Richard Goodall and Roni Sagi & Rhythm instead of Attraction Juniors and Hypers Kids Africa.

Semifinals[]

Ashes & Arrows' Semifinal performance in Episode 1917 consisted of performing their original song "Hang On". Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell gave them standing ovations. They did not receive enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1918, eliminating them from the competition instead of Richard Goodall.

Trivia[]

  • They are the only act in the Semifinals to have a "No" in their audition.
