Background[]

Attraction are a Hungarian shadow theatre group. They rose to fame during a performance at the Hungary Olympic Oath Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympics, in which they did a rendition of many of the traditional sports within the five rings of the Olympic games logo. Less than a year later, they won the 7th series of Britain's Got Talent, becoming the first non-UK act to win the show. [1]

They returned to BGT a year later as guest performers during the final Semi-Final, and performed alongside Richard and Adam. They competed on the 8th season of Das Supertalent, ultimately placing 7th overall. They later performed on In The Mirage, and CCTV New Year's Gala. They later made guest appearances on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Best of Britain's Got Talent, and as part of a TV Advertising campaign for Swinton Insurance.

Since winning the series, the group has performed all over the world, amazing audiences with their unique storytelling.

In 2018, they won the Britain's Got Talent World Cup on Facebook, where they were named the greatest act of the series' first 12 seasons.

The Champions Preliminary[]

Attraction's performance in Episode TC05 consisted of telling the story of growing up and sharing adventures across the United States set to "I Lived" by OneRepublic. Howie Mandel , Mel B , Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations.  It was revealed that the superfans voted Attraction into the top 3 along with Shin Lim and Sons of Serendip. They received more votes than Sons of Serendip but fewer votes than Shin, eliminating the group from the competition.

After The Show[]

In Winter 2020 the group performed a Christmas themed shadow puppetry routine whilst Beau Dermott, Souparnika Nair, Fayth Ifil, Asanda, & Sarah Ikumu backed the performance with a rendition of 'Somewhere Only We Know' by Lily Allen, as a part of the Britain's Got Talent Christmas Spectacular. They concluded their performance by first creating the words 'Merry Xmas'. They then went on to create a hand on the left side of the screen and a hand holding a gift on the right side of the screen and the words 'Show someone they're loved this Christmas' on the middle of the screen.

In 2022, their junior equivalent auditioned for the 15th season of Britain’s Got Talent.

In 2024, their junior equivalent competed on the nineteenth season of America’s Got Talent.
