Ava Swiss

Ava Swiss was a singer from Season 17 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background[]

Ava is from Oxford, Michigan and a senior at Oxford High School. She was one of the survivors of the shooting at her school in November 2021.

Audition[]

Ava Swiss' audition in Episode 1708 consisted of singing Lauren Daigle's "Remember". All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending her to the next round.

Semifinals[]

Ava Swiss' Semifinals performance in Episode 1710 consisted of singing P!nk's "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken". Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations. She did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 5 of the night in Episode 1711, eliminating her from the competition instead of Don McMillan.
