Bboy Samuka was a dancer from Season 19 of America's Got Talent. He finished in the top 5 of his Quarterfinal week.

Background[]

Samuel Henrique is from Brazil and is otherwise known as Bboy Samuka. When he was 13, he discovered that he had cancer in his left leg and as such it had to be amputated. His ambition is to help other people with cancer.

He is part of a group which competed in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games called Ill Abilities which also has AGT alumnus Lazylegz from Season 2.[1][2]

Audition[]

Bboy Samuka’s audition in Episode 1903 consisted of performing a dance routine to James Brown’s "Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved". All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.

Deliberations[]

Samuka was selected to advance to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

Bboy Samuka's Quarterfinal performance in Episode 1911 consisted of performing a dance routine to the Four Seasons' "Beggin'". Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofía Vergara and Simon Cowell all gave him standing ovations. He received enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1912 instead of Brooke Bailey, but did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating him from the competition along with Ashlee Montague instead of Alex Sampson, Young-Min and Sky Elements.

Trivia[]

  • Bboy Samuka is the first known Paralympian to compete on AGT in the same year as competing in the Paralympics.
