Ben is from Nashville and works as a gospel singer and vocal coach. He is wheelchair-bound due to having arthrogryposis.

Audition[]

Ben Waites' audition in Episode 1706 consisted of singing Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors". All the judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.
