Benjamin Hightower is a singer and keyboardist in Season 20 of America's Got Talent.
Background[]
Benjamin Hightower is from Tennessee. When Benjamin was 5, his parents took him to see a production of The Phantom of the Opera that was based in New York, at which point he developed a passion for music and wanted to be a performer just like the cast who he saw performing on stage at that very moment.
In 2017, Benjamin reached the Semi-Finals of Season 12 of America’s Got Talent as a member of all-male military A Capella Group In The Stairwell. Directly after this, Benjamin served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years of his life between 2018 and 2024, however, he recently left active service to pursue his passion for music. Ever since his departure from active service in the military, Benjamin has gone on to release both original music and covers across each and every single one of his social media platforms.
