Berywam were a beatboxing group act from Season 14 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background

Beatness, Rythmind, Wawad and Beasty have a simple ambition: to give new momentum to the democratization of beatboxing. They make their mouths and their virtuosity a weapon they put at the service of an uncommon mix of musicality. This assumed style seduces a wider audience than just beatbox lovers, and they are the 2018 World Champions of Beatbox. [1]

Audition

Berywam's audition in Episode 1404 consisted of beatboxing a medley of original song "Le coup de pouce", Martin Garrix's "Animals" and DJ Snake's "Turn Down for What".   Howie MandelGabrielle UnionJulianne Hough, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending Berywam to the Judge Cuts. 

Judge Cuts

Berywam's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1407 consisted of beatboxing a medley of Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" and Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now". Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and guest judge Brad Paisley gave them standing ovations. Their performance was strong enough to advance to the Quarterfinals on a unanimous verdict.

Quarterfinals

Berywam's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1415 consisted of beatboxing a medley of Carl Orff's "O Fortuna" and Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road".  Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell all gave them standing ovations.

Trivia

  • Berywam competed on France's Got Talent in 2018, finishing in third place. Fellow Season 14 contestants Dakota & Nadia also competed on that season, finishing in second place. Coincidentally, the two acts reunited in Week 1 of Judge Cuts.
