So let me cut to the chase: whoever says Tyler-Butler Figueroa, the violinist kid, will make it to Top 10, or even win AGT, has clearly, clearly not watched Marcin Patrzalek in his audition and Judge Cuts.
Let me explain. Now, from this point on, I'll be talking about Tyler purely about his talent and not his story, in full respects to the name of America's Got Talent. What we listened to was the main melody line of Stronger by Kelly Clarkson, a pop song, and it absolutely blows my mind when people say that he's a top contender. Even looking at his other songs/performances on his YouTube channel, I'm not convinced at all. Looking on here and Instagram, or on YouTube, everyone seems to favor him, and rather heavily, which absolutely blows my mind. His performance was very mediocre; some basic do-re-mi stuff. I get that the violin is one of the hardest instruments to play in the world, but his musicianship isn't even million dollar worthy. I know this really well as I was classically-trained in piano for all my adolescence.
I'm 100% sure not many here knows of Marcin Patrzalek, please give him a listen in both his performances in the auditions and Judge Cuts and tell me what you think. He's an 18-year old Polish guitarist with a ton of virtuosic techniques and musical ability as solid as steel. He can play Paganini, Beethoven, percussive guitar, orchestral, flamenco, be able to play two melodies at once, tap on the guitar, etc etc etc.. while doing it all on a prodigious/international scale especially that in the classical music world, and classical music is hardest music genre out there. In his performances, he's played two insanely-hard songs: Beethoven's 5th Symphony/SOAD's Toxicity mashup, and Asturias, a highly-technical piece in classical guitar, and both performances arranged by Marcin himself to be furthermore difficult than it already is. Marcin is a genius, and easily the greatest instrumentalist the show has ever seen in 14 years of AGT. I don't get why people are paying more attention to Tyler than Marcin.
Compare him to Tyler Butler-Figueroa, it's basically beginner vs. master. To sum it up, if the show were to be unbiased, Tyler has no chance against Marcin.
