Bobby Badfingers was a finger snapper/dancer act from Season 1 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Semifinals, but he returned for the Wild Card Show, where he was eliminated again.

Background[]

Bobby Badfingers, whose real name is Bob Von Merta started his lifetime of snapping while watching Flamenco dancers on television when he was just 4 years old. "I didn't know they were playing castanets," exclaims Bob, "I thought they were snapping their fingers, so I started trying to sound like them." Badfingers' act is so filled with energy and wild gyrations, that a stationary microphone proved to be too restrictive, so with the help of his technical staff, he developed a unique "digital" (as in digits) wireless microphone system, which connects directly to his fingers.
