Brian Pankey was a juggler from Season 9 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated during Judgment Week. Brian returned in Season 16, where he was eliminated in the auditions.


Brian Pankey, who is from Springfield, Illinois, started juggling at the age of 13 when he saw his 8th grade history teacher do it for the class. Young Brian at the time was intrigued just by somebody juggling more than two objects.

Brian has always been intrigued by performers. At the age of 3 he vowed to be a magician. His parents finally bought him a magic set & a magic wand. He would go to the circus every year just to see if there would be a juggling or magic act there.

Now, Brian's act is primarily juggling with some magic thrown into the mix. He started winning local juggling competitions and went on to perform in international competitions. He competed against people from Russia, Germany, Austraila, France, and many other people from around the globe. He has Traveled all over the United States showcasing his talent. Brian's other talents include coin & card manipulation, dice stacking, and writing poetry. 1

Season 9 Audition[]

Brian Pankey's audition in Episode 906 consisted of balancing a couch on his chin and juggling three apples while periodically taking bites from them. Howard Stern and at least two other judges voted "Yes," sending Brian to Judgment Week.

Season 9 Judgment Week[]

Brian Pankey did not perform in the Judgement Week, however according to a comment on his Instagram account, he was one of two acts slated to move onto the Quarterfinals but was cut at the last minute when they made the top 50 turn into a top 48. [1]

Season 16 Audition[]

Brian Pankey's audition in Episode 1601 consisted of juggling 3 tires and then balancing a ball on an umbrella that he is balancing on his chin. Unfortunately, He was unable to catch the ball. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. Although, Sofia Vergara voted "Yes". Heidi Klum and Simon voted "No" eliminating him from the competition. Howie’s voted is unknown.
