Burning Joe was a stuntman from Season 17 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the audition round.

Background[]

Joe Toedtling or Burning Joe was born in 1979 in Austria. He holds several Guinness World Records, including a record he set in 2013 for the “Longest Duration Full Body Burn”. He is also the recipient of the 'Hall of Honours Award' for a car stunt.

Audition[]

Burning Joe's audition in Episode 1701 consisted of singing an off-key version of The Bangles' "Eternal Flame" while lighting himself on fire. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell all buzzed the act. The verdict was untelevised but it is know Simon and Heidi voted “Yes”, but Howie and Sofia voted “No” eliminating him from the competition.
