Calysta "Caly" Bevier was born on September 17, 1999, in Toledo, Ohio. She was diagnosed with dysgerminoma, a form of Ovarian Cancer, at the very young age of 15. After the removal of a near 5 lb. tumor, 21 chemo infusions and numerous stays in the hospital, Caly is now, thankfully, in remission. Caly has been given the chance to be a face, so to speak, for cancer awareness. It is her goal to pay it forward. Caly has an absolutely beautiful singing voice. She has inspired many people all over the world to chase their dreams no matter what.

Audition
Calysta Bevier's audition in Episode 1104 consisted of singing Rachel Platten's "Fight Song." Moved by her performance, Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer to send Calysta straight to the Quarterfinals.
Calysta is the first Golden Buzzer act picked by Simon Cowell during his time judging on America’s Got Talent that has not advanced to the Finals. His other Golden Buzzer acts Mandy Harvey, Michael Ketterer, and Tyler Butler-Figueroa all made the finals in their respective seasons. She was followed by W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew in Season 15.
