Carter and Anika were a ballroom dancer duo act from Season 9 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated during Judgment Week.

Background

Carter Williams and Anika Baker, sixth graders at the time of their Season 9 audition, are from Orem, Utah. “2013 was an amazing year for us!!! We took 5th overall at the Worlds in Paris and are now moving up to Junior 1. We are excited for 2014!! :) Description We have been partners since September of 2012! We train in many different styles of dance, including ballroom, at Center Stage in Orem, Utah. We have worked very hard and with the help of our amazing coaches we have quickly become competition ready! We have had so much fun competing and practicing together this past year and we are so grateful for all of the support that we have received!!! We can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!!”

Audition

Carter and Anika's audition was never televised. It is unknown whether or not they were buzzed, but at least three judges voted "Yes," sending the duo to Judgment Week.

Judgment Week

Carter and Anika were sorted into the "Kid Variety" category in Judgment Week. Their performance in Episode 908 consisted of dancing together to "Let's Get Loud." Unfortunately, they rushed in the beginning of the performance and then slowed down, both disorienting their timing. Carter and Anika's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send them to the Quarterfinals, eliminating them from the competition along with Byamba's Contortion Girls, Grace Ann Gregorio, and Kaycee & Gabe that same episode.
