Christy Marie from Atlanta has been singing and performing since the young age of four. Involved in chorus, musicals, and talent shows throughout elementary, middle, and high school, Christy Marie is still continuing her path of education in the Performing Arts.
Christy Marie is a proud graduate from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts from the Theatre, Television, and Film Department; with a focus in Music and Dance. She has pursued her love of performing by singing the National Anthem for the SDSU Aztecs, singing live on Palomar College’s Radio Station-KKSM, as well as by performing in SDSU dance recitals, showcases, theatre productions, and film festivals.
Christy Marie has also been featured on San Diego’s own Fox 5 Morning News, multiple times while performing publicity stunts for the major movie studios, like Fox Searchlight and Dreamworks. Staying busy and in the spotlight, Christy Marie also got the opportunity to perform all over San Diego at some of the hottest hot spots like Hot Monkey Love Café, Beach House Restaurant, Hennessey’s Tavern, and L’Auberge Del Mar Resort; and Christy Marie has also been filmed at some of the hottest San Diego night clubs like: Onyx and Thin, as well as at On Broadway, and The Hard Rock Hotel for her debut music video, “I’m Here!”
Currently in Atlanta, Christy Marie is in the process of recording her debut album, “This Is Me: Christy Marie,” which is set to release nation-wide. Christy Marie has also been The TV Show Hostess With The Mostest on 411 “the show,” which has already aired for 3 seasons on GATV, The CW69, and on ION TV, broadcasting to 2.4 million households on TV, plus to millions more online. Christy Marie's audition in Episode 401 consisted of singing Cher's "The Shoop Shop Song (It's In His Kiss)." Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all buzzed the act. All three judges voted "No", eliminating Christy from the competition.
