Classy Dolly was a singer and singing dog from Season 11 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the audition round.

Background[]

Pat Bursell and her chihuahua Dolly live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 5-pound soprano was discovered in October 2008 at Letterman’s “Stupid Pet Tricks” audition at Promenade Shops at Briargate. Dolly was the last in a lineup of about two dozen dogs that did things like hike footballs, jump through hoops and perform CPR. Bursell was encouraged by the applause from pet owners.

A month later she entered Dolly in a pet trick contest for “The Today Show”, and won a trip to appear on live TV as one of four finalists. She didn’t win, but got her mug in US Weekly magazine.

Bursell is married to her husband, Ret. Army Lt. Col. Richard Bursell. [1]

Audition[]

Classy Dolly's audition in Episode 1103 consisted of Pat singing "Ah! Sweet Mystery of Life" with Dolly. Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum buzzed the act. Howie, Mel B, Heidi, and Simon Cowell all voted "No," eliminating Classy Dolly from the competition.
