Courtney Hadwin is a singer from Hartlepool, England. She was first noticed in 2015 when she performed "Say Something" by Great Big World at The Academy at Shotton Hall's lunchtime open mic session, and competed on The Voice Kids UK in 2017, auditioning with Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits". Courtney Hadwin's audition in Episode 1303 consisted of singing Otis Redding's "Hard to Handle" and dancing. Impressed with the performance, Howie Mandel pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending Courtney straight to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]

Courtney Hadwin's Week 1 Quarterfinals in Episode 1311 consisted of singing James Brown's "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" and dancing.  Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell gave her standing ovations. Courtney received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1312 along with Amanda Mena.

Semifinals[]

Courtney Hadwin's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 1319 consisted of singing Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" and dancing. Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell gave her standing ovations. Courtney received enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1320 instead of Noah Guthrie and Christina Wells.

Finals[]

Courtney Hadwin's Finals performance in Episode 1321 consisted of singing Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High" and dancing. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations.

Finale[]

For the finale in Episode 1322, Courtney Hadwin sang "Could Have Been Me" with The Struts as well as Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart". She did not receive enough votes to advance to the Top 5, eliminating her from the competition instead of Michael Ketterer.

The Champions Preliminary[]

Courtney Hadwin's performance in Episode TC02 consisted of singing her original song "Pretty Little Thing". Howie Mandel , Mel B , Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell all gave her standing ovations. It was revealed that the superfans voted her into the top 3 along with Cristina Ramos and Darci Lynne. She received less votes than either of them, eliminating her from the competition.

After the Show[]

Courtney later signed a record deal with Syco Entertainment and Arista Records. She was due to perform at the 50th anniversary edition of Woodstock in August 2019, but at the end of July it was announced that the festival was cancelled due to numerous organizational problems.
