Cristy Joy was a novelty act from Season 13 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the audition round.

Background[]

Cristy Joy was drawn to performing at a young age. Growing up, she performed in musical theater, chorus, show choir, bands, student films, and independent films. In college, she studied acting & tv/video production. Her first performance was in kindergarten, singing in chorus, and performing solos for school assemblies. During third grade, she got the lead role in her first play. Cristy Joy's comedy career began after improvising a bit with Tom Green on his talk show. During this time, she was honing her skills in a sketch group that rehearsed weekly & performed locally. Since then, Cristy Joy's also done improv with Tim Heidecker, Nick Kroll, and has had numerous performances at he Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Her comedy dancing can be seen on Comedy Central's "White People Problems" and on FOX's "Weird Loners". Her freestyle dancing can be seen throughout Justin Timberlake's music video for "Can't Stop the Feeling". Cristy Joy's acting is featured prominently in the series premiere of Adult Swim's "Decker: Unclassified". Cristy Joy has been studying & performing improv regularly for the last couple of years. Audition[]

Cristy Joy's audition in Episode 1305 consisted of making squeaking noises to Lipps Inc.'s "Funkytown". Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all buzzed the act. All four judges voted "No", eliminating her from the competition.
