Damone Rippy was a flyboarder from Season 10 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background[]

Damone Rippy is a Professional Flyboarder based out of Austin, Texas. He is an original Member of Team Aquafly and he is the 2015 Flycaptain Ambassador. He recently competed in the North American Flyboard Championship in Shreveport, Louisiana where he successfully defended his Championship Title.

Damone Rippy was only 14 when he started Flyboarding. He became interested after doing it at a friend's party.

When Damone is not on the water he enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends and family. He was a student at Lake Travis High School where he played Soccer and Football. He is now homeschooled so that he can better handle the opportunities that Flyboarding has presented him. Damone grew up in Colorado where he was an avid Snowboarder in the Rockies. He believes his success on the Flyboard is due in part to the balance he learned from Snowboarding. He feels blessed and is thankful for everything that has come his way on this Flyboard journey.

He has been featured on the History Channel, ESPN, will be in an upcoming major motion picture. [1]

Audition[]

Damone Rippy's audition in Episode 1004 consisted of performing flyboarding tricks such as double backflips and diving with a water jetpack attached to his feet. Howard SternHeidi KlumMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Damone to the Judge Cuts round.

Judge Cuts[]

Damone Rippy did not perform in the Judge Cuts round, but he progressed to the next round anyway.

Quarterfinals[]

Damone Rippy's Week 2 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1014 consisted of performing flyboarding tricks such as triple backflips and spinning with a water jetpack attached to his feet in the Hudson River. He moved to Pharrell Williams' "Come Get It Bae." Damone did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 1015, eliminating him from the competition instead of Uzeyer Novruzov.
