Deadly Games, also known as Alfredo & Anna Silva, was a knife throwing duo from Season 11 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Semifinals. Deadly Games returned for America's Got Talent: The ChampionsThey finished in the Bottom 7 of the Top 12.

Background[]

Alfredo & Anna Silva are from Las Vegas, Nevada. The two met eight years before their audition, and they were married for a little more than two years before their audition. Alfredo is a sixth-generation performer. He studied magic, juggling, even the Globe of Death - but in the end fell in love with the most dangerous - knife-throwing. Anna, originally from Russia, is a professional ballerina and spent many years as a choreographer. In 2009, she agreed to combine her love of dance to Alfredo's most dangerous passions, and voilà, Deadly Games was born. [1]

Audition[]

Alfredo & Anna Silva's audition in Episode 1104 consisted of Alfredo throwing knives in the direction of Anna to stick in a wall behind her as she first stood, then leaned backward, then moved side to side with her back towards Alfredo as he continued throwing knives. The performance concluded with Alfredo throwing flaming knives around Anna as she stood still. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending the duo to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]

Deadly Games' Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1108 consisted of Alfredo throwing knives to pop two balloons held by Anna's hands, and one held from her mouth. Next, Alfredo threw a set of knives around Anna as a wheel spun with her attached to it. Heidi Klum gave the duo a standing ovation. Deadly Games' performance was strong enough for the judges to send them to the Quarterfinals instead of Gary Sladek.

Quarterfinals[]

Deadly Games' Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1111 consisted of Alfredo throwing a set of weapons on the board behind Anna while he was blindfolded. Next, Anna spun on a flaming spinning wheel while Alfredo threw a set of flaming weapons on the wheel as it spun. Heidi Klum gave the duo a standing ovation. Deadly Games finished in sixth or seventh place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, the duo received fewer online votes than Lori Mae Hernandez. In the Judges' Choice, although Howie Mandel and Mel B did not vote for the duo, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell did, forcing a tiebreaker; whichever act had received more votes from America would progress. Deadly Games received more votes than Hara, sending the duo to the Semifinals in Episode 1112.

Semifinals[]

Deadly Games' Week 1 Semifinals performance in Episode 1117 consisted of Alfredo using a whip to lash roses held in Anna's hands and mouth, and then drawing Anna herself to him. Then he threw knives at a board while Anna was hidden from view by parchment paper. Finally, Alfredo fired crossbow bolts at balloons held in Anna's hands and mouth. The performance was set to Marilyn Manson's version of "Tainted Love". Mel B and Heidi Klum gave the duo standing ovations. The act prompted Howie to repeatedly call Anna sexy, and Heidi to express her desire to be a 'fly on their bedroom wall'. Simon noted that the production value had gone up and Mel B said she hoped they would make the final round. Deadly Games did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Finals in Episode 1118, eliminating the duo from the competition along with Blake Vogt, instead of Jon Dorenbos.
