Kayrymard Lawrence, Nathaniel Gordon, Ronnie Caing, Rickey Williams, Darins Boone, Rico Clark, Ernest Elmora, Giovoni Gilbert, and Donald Slott make up "The Distinguished Men of Brass," a brass ensemble and dance group from Tampa Bay, Florida that combines percussion with movement. 1

Audition[]

The Distinguished Men of Brass's audition in Episode 705 consisted of performing and dancing to a song about themselves as well as a section of "I Like It Like That." Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending the act to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

The Distinguished Men of Brass was one of the Standby Acts in the Vegas Round. It was sorted into the "Bands" category. Its performance in Episode 713 consisted of performing a marching band version of "I Feel Good." Its audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals along with The All Ways and Wordspit, the Illest!.















Quarterfinals[]

The Distinguished Men of Brass's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 714 consisted of performing "Crazy in Love" as a marching band to an upbeat tempo. The act did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 715.
















Trivia[]

Distinguished Men of Brass are the first act to perform live in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, in Newark, New Jersey.
