Divas & Drummers of Compton was a dance and percussion group from Season 15 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals.


The Divas & Drummers of Compton began in 2011 out of a need to provide the youth and teens of Compton with opportunities to be creative in a safe space. Keli Berry and her husband Terence Berry opened the 1 Shine Youth Center as a safe haven to help keep kids off the street and help them channel their talents into positivity. Every day, the kids come to the youth center and are provided breakfast, lunch and often dinner. The group's goal is to provide leadership skills through performing arts, including dancing and a drumline.

The Divas & Drummers of Compton provide youths emotional support, love and guidance, and the group is like an extended family. The group's goal is to show the youth that there is more to life than the hand they have been dealt, and through hard work, faith and determination, they can enhance the quality of their life and achieve their dreams and goals. Many members of the group have experiended hardships, and being a part of the Divas and Drummers of Compton has shown them more of the world than they have ever experienced.

The Divas & Drummers of Compton are a group of hard-working youth and teens who have dedicated their young lives to being youth ambassadors for the city of Compton and being the change they wish to see in the world.


Divas & Drummers of Compton's audition in Episode 1502 consisted of dancing and performing percussion. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.

Judge Cuts

Divas & Drummers of Compton automatically advanced to the Quarterfinals without performing in Episode 1508, though their verdict was not televised.


Divas & Drummers of Compton's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1515 consisted of performing a dance and percussion routine. The group did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1516, eliminating them from the competition along with CA Wildcats instead of Brandon Leake.
