America's Got Talent Wiki

Double Dragon was a vocal duo from Season 15 of America's Got Talent.  They were eliminated in the Semifinals.

Andrea and Irene Ramos, also known as the Double Dragon twins, are a Peruvian-born and raised singing and performance duo. The twins made their TV debut at the age of 8 on Peru's children television show "De Colores" as backup dancers.

In 2004, at the age of 16, Irene auditioned for a singing competition called "Desafio de Estrellas," in which the winners of seven groups of seven participants each faced off to determine the best singer. Irene won the competition. That same year, Andrea auditioned for a TV reality/competition show called "Pop tu Show," and she went on to win a spot in a five-member girls' band.

The twins were inspired to participate in AGT because of Simon Cowell. They have been huge fans of his for years.

Double Dragon's audition in Episode 1501 consisted of singing The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men". Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.

Judge Cuts

Double Dragon automatically advanced to the Quarterfinals without performing in Episode 1508.

Double Dragon's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1509 consisted of singing Ariana Grande, Jesse J and Nicki Minaj's "Bang Bang" and Ozuna's "Taki Taki".  The girls finished in 4th, 5th or 6th place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, they received fewer online votes than Brett Loudermilk. In the Judges' Choice, Kelly Clarkson did not vote for them but Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel did, advancing to the Semifinals in Episode 1510 instead of Feng E.

Double Dragon's Semifinals performance in Episode 1517 consisted of singing Lizzo's "Juice" and J Balvin‘s “Mi Gente.”  Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara gave them standing ovations.  They did not receive enough votes to advance to the Finals in Episode 1518, eliminating them from the competition instead of Broken Roots.
