Duo Just Two Men was an aerial duo from Season 18 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Deliberations.
Background[]
Duo Just Two Men consists of Artem Lyubanevych and Oleg Shakirov, who both hail from the Ukraine. The duo had known each other since childhood and played together, went to school together and trained together and were like brothers, so their children frequently spend time together and even train in the same gym wherein the duo trained. Artem also stated that they wanted to win the show as they believed that this could help them find a better life for their family.
Artem stated that the duo grew up in a hard situation together and that were why they were so strong and they trusted one another so much as they lacked the chance of being able to make mistakes as they had no mats as safety blankets. Artem also stated that he always told his daughter that the Olympic Games were the biggest competition in the world, however his daughter always disagreed informing him that AGT were the biggest event in the world.
The duo have performed in Vietnam, Singapore, China, and the US and had the honor of being part of the Pan American Opening Show for the renowned Cirque du Soleil in 2015, alongside the Cirque Pinder in France, Holiday on Ice in Holland, Cirque Kobzov in Ukraine, as well as the prestigious GOP Variete Theater in Germany. In 2013, the duo competed on the third season of Ukrayina maye talant.
Audition[]
Duo Just Two Men's audition in Episode 1807 consisted of performing an aerial hand-balancing routine with the use of aerial straps to J2 & Blu Holiday’s cover of "Born to Be Wild". All four judges voted "Yes", sending them to the next round.
Deliberations[]
The duo was not chosen as one of the 55 acts to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition.
After the Show[]
Additionally in 2023, Duo Just Two Men reached the Final of the tenth season of Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales.
Later in 2023, Duo Just Two Men auditioned for the eighteenth season of France's Got Talent, however they were eliminated in the Deliberations.
In 2024, Duo Just Two Men auditioned for the 10th season of Spain's Got Talent. Their audition consisted of performing an aerial routine to Sam Tinnesz’ ‘Far From Home’. They advanced onto the following round with three ‘Yes’ votes from Florentino Fernández, Paula Echevarría and Tamara Falcó and one ‘No’ vote from Risto Mejide.
