The sixth episode of Season 1, and the sixth episode of America's Got Talent overall, aired on July 19, 2006. It was the second of five Semifinals performance episodes and took place in Hollywood. 10 acts performed for two spots in the Season 1 Finals. 5 acts from this episode were eliminated without performing.

Because the judges were unable to agree on one act to progress to the Finals without needing America's vote, the Judges' choice act would be revealed the next day.
