Episode 205

The fifth episode of Season 2, and the twentieth episode of America's Got Talent overall, aired on July 10, 2007. It was the first Vegas Round episode and took place in Las Vegas. 35 acts from this episode proceeded to the Top 35 Shortlist, and 35 acts were eliminated.

Process[]

The 70 acts that passed through the auditions were trimmed down to a short list of 35 acts, 20 of which would become Semifinalists. The 70 acts were split into two groups: Music and Variety, before they performed in front of the judges. After everyone had performed, the judges brought the acts in different groups. Every act in the group either moved on or was eliminated.
