Background[]
36-year-old Erica Coffelt is a speech and language pathologist who grew up with a secret passion for dance. However, it wasn’t until both of her parents unexpectedly passed away in her senior year of high school that she decided to pursue dance at her local university. Although dance became a huge part of her life, she put those dreams on hold as she shifted gears toward a career in speech pathology. When she and her family found themselves stuck at home during the pandemic, she began entertaining her young daughter with dance moves and posting videos to social media, where they took off. With coaxing from her husband to share her talent and perform for a bigger audience, she found the courage to audition for “America’s Got Talent”.
