Fancy Ray McCloney, self-claimed “The Best Lookin’ Man In Comedy” is a Comedian, Actor and TV Pitchman from Minneapolis, MN. Fancy Ray has dazzled audiences for over 20 years. He is known for his enthusiastic personality, numerous TV Commercials and his historic campaign for the Minnesota Govenors Office.
In 1989, Fancy Ray produced and hosted the TV program “Get Down With It!” where he interviewed celebritites such as Whoopie Goldberg, Donny Osmund, and Tiny Tim.
Fancy Ray has been featured nationally on The Tonight Show and Last Comic Standing, and has opened in concert for Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, and Little Richard. Fancy Ray has performed in Comedy Clubs, Corporate Parties, Private Events, Casinos, Restaurant Openings, Music Festivals and for over ten years has hosted a yearly ‘all age show’ at The Hosmer Library (Hennepin County Library System).
His act is a combination between the personalities of Prince, James Brown, and Little Richard. 1
He was also briefly seen in Season 1. Although it is not known if he auditioned in front on the judges.

Fancy Ray McCloney's audition in Episode 305 consisted of calling himself the best looking man in comedy and a present to the whole world. David Hasselhoff, Sharon Osbourne, and Piers Morgan all buzzed the act. David and at least one other judge voted "No", eliminating Ray from the competition.
