Background[]

Matthew Richardson loves design. There is something very exciting to him about creating new ideas and artwork to make a brand more compelling. Born in Savannah Georgia, he has spent most of his life developing different creative outlets. Growing up he took piano lessons and gymnastics and participated in performing arts and other school activities. He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he began his education in the field of advertising design. After his junior year at SCAD, he completed an internship for Cartoon Network which led to a freelance relationship with their creative department. After college he accepted an internship with Crispin Porter & Bogusky and shortly after was offered a Jr. Art Director position at Blue Sky Agency.

After a few short months at Blue Sky, he became increasingly involved as a primary designer for campaign pitches and his work was chosen for multiple existing clients. Within his first year at Blue Sky, he had succesfully sold designs for clients including the Atlanta Thrashers, the Atlanta Hawks, the Woodruff Arts Center, Turner Network Sales and Blue Sky Agency’s rebranding. After almost 5 years with Blue Sky, he moved to San Francisco to pursue a side career in performing arts. [1] Now he is also a cyr wheel performer that is dedicated to creating LGBTQ-based performance art to address social issues and hopefully inspire a kinder world.

In 2017 he appeared on the fourth season of the Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales [2][3]
