Freckled Sky was a dance duo from Season 10 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals in the Judges' Choice. Freckled Sky returned for AGT: The Champions 2 with two new members, where they were eliminated in the Preliminaries.
Background[]
The Freckled Sky team is creating new forms of entertainment using high-end technologies.
Val Syganevich is the founder of Freckled Sky and its visionary. His talent and unique superpowers allow him to reach out to anybody at any moment, even when that moment is not suitable. He is the man who manages the entire group with assorted skills.
Jalen Preston and Olga Sokolova are the dancers. Jalen dances everywhere and to everything. He can even dance to mobile ringtones. However, he always loses his phone, but he continues to dance to the sounds of silence. Olga, who is from Russia, is considered by her team the embodiment of sensuality and delicacy, but her energy is the envy of the whole country. [1]
Audition[]
Freckled Sky's audition in Episode 1002 consisted of combining video projections depicting rain effects and colors, water, and dance to portray the story of a man and woman trying to stay together in the face of an omnipotent being. Moved by the performance, Howard Stern pressed his Golden Buzzer to send Freckled Sky straight to the Quarterfinals. In Episode 1005, Heidi Klum revealed that she wanted to use the Golden Buzzer on Freckled Sky, but Howard beat her to it.
Quarterfinals[]
Freckled Sky's Week 2 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1014 consisted of combining video projections depicting tall crystals and colorful silhouettes, water, and dance to portray the story of a man and woman that are unable to stay together despite their best efforts. The duo danced to Tom Odell's "Can't Pretend." Freckled Sky finished in sixth, seventh, or eighth place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, they received fewer online votes than Ira. In the Judges' Choice, Howard Stern, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all did not vote for the duo, eliminating Freckled Sky from the competition in Episode 1015 instead of 3 Shades of Blue.
After Season 10[]
They performed during the third semifinal telecast of Britain's Got Talent series thirteen, with James Arthur singing "Falling Like the Stars"
The Champions 2 Preliminary[]
Freckled Sky's Preliminary performance in Episode TC203 consisted of performing a video projection dance routine where the two dancers are portrayed as puppets traveling through different worlds. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. They did not receive enough votes from the Superfans to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition along with Ben Hart instead of Duo Destiny.
Trivia[]
- Freckled Sky was the only golden buzzer act of Season 10 that did not advance to the Semifinals.
- Freckled Sky is the first act that was voted against by the judge who gave them the Golden Buzzer in the Judges Choice. They were followed by Victory Brinker in Season 16. In this case, she was given the Golden Buzzer by all four judges and the host at once in the auditions (making this an AGT first), and in the Semifinals, specifically, Episode 1618, Howie didn't vote for her, but Simon, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi did, sending her to the Finals.
