Gonzo was a tambourinist from Season 14 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
When Gonzo was a kid, he was not good at talking to people, but one day, he saw an artist perform on television and was impressed by the fun. After that, he wanted to become a comedian and longed to entertain people. He has been on many stages in Japan and has worked various part-time jobs. He found a tambourine at one of his part-time jobs at a karaoke shop and began practicing five hours a day for two years. He wanted to perform overseas in 2014, so he did a street tambourine performance in Times Square in New York. He delivers smiles and love to people not only in America, but all over the world. [1]
Gonzo has previously participated in Asia's Got Talent Season 1 and Britain's Got Talent Series 13, where he reached the Semifinals on both shows.

Gonzo's audition in Episode 1406 consisted of dancing and playing the tambourine to Europe's "The Final Countdown." Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending Gonzo to the Judge Cuts.
Judge Cuts[]

Simon Cowell buzzed the act, but Howie Mandel gave him a standing ovation. Gonzo did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1416, eliminating him from the competition instead of Detroit Youth Choir.
After The Show[]
Two years later in 2021, Gonzo advanced onto the Semifinals of the seventh season of Got Talent Espana.
Trivia[]
- Gonzo is the third known act to have participated on both Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent in the same year, after Charlie Plaçais and Wes-P/Mr. Uekusa. However, Gonzo is the only one of the three to have made the live shows on both versions.
- Additionally, Gonzo is the only act in Got Talent history to date, to have made the live shows on America's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent, and Asia's Got Talent.
- Simon notably did not recognise Gonzo, nor bring up his audition for Britain's Got Talent, during his time on the show. Additionally, Gonzo spoke Japanese in his performances, even though his BGT audition showed he could speak english, and was in no need of a translator.
