When Gonzo was a kid, he was not good at talking to people, but one day, he saw an artist perform on television and was impressed by the fun. After that, he wanted to become a comedian and longed to entertain people. He has been on many stages in Japan and has worked various part-time jobs. He found a tambourine at one of his part-time jobs at a karaoke shop and began practicing five hours a day for two years. He wanted to perform overseas in 2014, so he did a street tambourine performance in Times Square in New York. He delivers smiles and love to people not only in America, but all over the world.
Gonzo has previously participated in Asia's Got Talent Season 1 and Britain's Got Talent Series 13, where he reached the Semifinals on both shows.
Gonzo's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1409 consisted of dancing and playing the tambourine to Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero". Howie Mandel gave him a standing ovation. His performance was strong enough to advance to the Quarterfinals.
Gonzo is the third known act to have participated on both Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent in the same year, after Charlie Plaçais and Wes-P/Mr. Uekusa. However, Gonzo is the only one of the three to have made the live shows on both versions.
