Gymkana was an acrobatic group act from Season 6 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Semifinals.
Background
Founded in 1946 at the University of Maryland, Gymkana combines traditional gymnastics with extreme acrobatics, creating a high-flying, action-packed performance that appeals to audiences both young and old alike. Gymkana’s philosophy is that anyone can learn gymnastics regardless of age or experience level. Gymkana's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 621 consisted of three men in the middle of two ladders, while three women on each of the other sides of the men performed acrobatic tricks on the ladders and jumping through the space between the two ladders to "Edge of Glory." The act received enough votes to send it to the Semifinals in Episode 622 instead of Powerhouse.
