Jack Williams' Semifinals performance in Episode 1716 consisted of performing fan-submitted ventriloquist challenges with his puppet Dale while Foster heckles them from the edge of the stage and steals other people's voices. He received enough votes to enter the Top 5 of the night in Episode 1717 instead of Harper and The Lazy Generation, but did not receive enough votes to enter the Top 3, eliminating him from the competition along with Merissa Beddows instead of Mike E. Winfield, Lily Meola and Metaphysic.
