The Atlanta Professional Dance Academy was established in 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia. It is an international cultural and arts connection company led by the principal dancer of the Atlanta Ballet and former principal dancer of the Central Ballet of China and now a Ballet Master in USA- Mr. Wei Dongsheng. One of our missions is to cultivate diversity in the Atlanta international business community. By providing social and Cultural activities for the Chinese and American people, the teachers are able to focus on the world youth educational programs and cultural exchange. The Atlanta Professional Dance Academy is T.M. Culture & Arts Center’s official dance school. It provides professional teaching team in Ballet, Point, Pas De Duex, Character and Chinese Folk Dance classes. 1
Most members in the group grew up as Americans, but their dance helps them reach back to their ancestry. Most of the group's members have been learning at the academy for an average of 6 years
Jasmine Flower's audition in Episode 903 consisted of performing a Chinese ballet piece coined "Ballet Jasmine Flowers." The routine involved folding, unfolding, and moving fans to form a variety of flowery shapes. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending the group to Judgment Week.
Jasmine Flowers was sorted into the "Dance Groups" category in Judgment Week. The group's performance in Episode 908 consisted of dancing with fans to form different flowery shapes while standing one behind the other or in one crowd. Jasmine Flowers' performance was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals in the same episode.
Jasmine Flowers' Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 909 consisted of a routine involving umbrellas, scarves, and fans to create flowery shapes. Jasmine Flowers did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 910 along with Valo & Bobby, instead of Emily West.
