Background[]

Jaycob Curlee is a singer form Daphne, Alabama. Music has always been an important part of his life, helping him get through the tough times of his childhood. His parents were not "model parents," whether because they were in jail or were doing drugs. At age five, the police picked up his sister and him and took them to foster care.

Visitation periods felt the worst because for the first few months, his parents actually came with gifts, but they eventually stopped coming. Jaycob would beg others to adopt him if they showed any hints of emotion, but he would eventually give up. He felt he was somebody's luggage as no one seemed to love him.

At eight years old, a lovely couple came to visit him, and that couple adopted his sister and him. Now, Jaycob's dream is to play music for a living.
