Jayna Elise Brown was born to Tetia Lanae Brown on September 26, 2001. She hails from Maryland. Jayna has been performing since the tender age of four. Jayna is well versed within performing arts and has and had proven her ability in the are of song, dance and acting. Early on her creative nature began to unfold as she quickly learned to play the piano. Jayna has taken piano, dance, voice and acting lessons. With all that Jayna is involved in she understands the importance of education and is maintaining a 4.0 in all her courses. She has full support from her family and friends and truly loves what she does. [1]
Jayne's mom is a single mother. Jayna and her mother moved to Atlanta, but they lost their home there. By the time of their audition, they were "in between houses", staying with a neighbor.

Jayna Brown's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 1119 consisted of singing Katy Perry's "Rise". Heidi Klum gave her a standing ovation. Jayna did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Finals in Episode 1120, eliminating her from the competition instead of Linkin' Bridge.
