Jecko was a comedic magician from Season 14 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.
Background[]
WHO IS JECKO? He is a scriptwriter, actor, comedian and director.
Started his profession in a Modern Acting/Clown/Circus school in Gävle for three years with focus on comedy. Working with slapstick acrobatic for 7 years, travelled and performed in big parts of Europe and Japan with another acrobat. Jecko won 2nd prize and public prize in the Modern circus festival in Wiesbaden 2000, followed by work in Varietes like Tigerpalast, Chamäeleon and more.
Performed in a dinner show, produced by Cirque du Soleil in Berlin for two years and did Events for Volvo, Eriksson, Nokia and many many others.
Followed by 7 years performing in Copenhagen in the biggest dinner show in Scandinavia. Then returning back to Sweden, started together with his wife to write 100 manuscripts for children comedy series on Swedish national tv and also played one of the two main characters in all of them. Beside that continued to perform in events for grown ups in Scandinavia. Plus created his own Variety show and builded his own theater ”Vrickade teatern” in Sweden.
JECKO (Jocke Assarsson) is born in Sweden and lives together with his wife and one daughter. [1]
Audition[]
Jecko's audition in Episode 1406 consisted of performing prop-based comedy magic. The verdict was untelevised, but at least 3 judges voted "Yes" sending Jecko to the Judge Cuts.
Judge Cuts[]
Jecko's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1407 consisted of performing comedy with balloon animals and then a card trick. Simon Cowell buzzed the act. Jecko's performance was not strong enough for the judges to advance to the Quarterfinals eliminating him from the competition along with Andy Rowell and The Orange Magician .
