Background[]
Jelly Boy's real name is Eric Broomfield, and is a seasoned performer at Coney Island in New York. He is one half of a sideshow duo known as the Squidling Brothers.
Audition[]
Jelly Boy the Clown's audition in Episode 1903 consisted of slicing a watermelon with the blade of a buzzsaw that was in his mouth, eating and spitting fire, and electrocuting himself. All 4 judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.
Deliberations[]
Jelly Boy was selected to advance to the Quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals[]
Jelly Boy's Quarterfinal performance in Episode 1913 consisted of performing a sword-swallowing routine including one sword set off with pyrotechnics as well as eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation. He did not receive enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1914, eliminating him from the competition instead of Learnmore Jonasi.
