Jonathan Rinny was a balancing acrobat from Season 12 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.


Jonathan Rinny has been performing since the age of 5. He began clowning as a child in a family-owned circus in Argentina, established by his grandparents. He then spent his teenage performance career as part of his family's troupe entertaining in Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, and the majority of South America.

Since then, he has been featured in renowned circuses, fairs, variety productions, and TV shows. He is an established Rolla Bolla artist, Unicyclist, and Juggler, touring 48 of the United States with his wife Caroline. [1]


Jonathan Rinny's audition in Episode 1206 consisted of first balancing on top of 4 skateboards stacked on a hollow cylinder. Next, he built an unstable stack of three hollow cylinders on a swinging platform, climbed that stack, and then balanced on top of that stack (Rola-Bola). Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending Jonathan to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]

Jonathan Rinny's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1209 consisted of building an unstable stack of five hollow cylinders on a platform, climbing that stack, and then balancing on top of that stack as the platform was mechanically raised. Mel B and Heidi Klum gave him standing ovations. Jonathan's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals, eliminating him from the competition along with Bello Nock, instead of Billy & Emily England.

After The Show[]

Jonathan competed on the second season of the TBS competition series Go Big Show in 2022 in which he advanced to the semifinals advancing over Leroy Patterson. He lost to JD Anderson in a tiebreaker losing a spot in the finale.

Jonathan's wife Caroline auditioned for Season 17 as part of Duo Mico.

In 2023, Jonathan auditioned for Spain's Got Talent: All Stars but did not advance to the final.
