Jonny Come Lately was a band from Season 2 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Semifinals.
Background[]
Jonny Come Lately is different from what you might think of a band with a stand-up bass and hollow-body guitars. Based out of Los Angeles, the members of the band fuse Ska, Rockabilly, R&B, Blues, Soul, Punk, and Garage Rock.
Jonny Come Lately formed in the Spring of 2006, when Angela Ross fused her two bands together: Izzy Loya on Lead vocals & guitar; Julian Johnson on stand-up bass; Adrian Johnson on guitar, vocals, & harmonica; Angela Ross on drums. They have performed at many venues and bars in the Los Angeles, OC, San Diego, and San Luis Obispo areas.
They play anything from The Clash to Elvis Presley, Sublime to the Stray Cats, Muddy Waters and everything in between. 1
