Joseph Hall was an Elvis Presley impersonator from Season 3 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Top 10.

Background[]

Joseph Hall was born in Abilene, Texas on August 27 of 1984 and has been performing his Elvis Tribute Show since 2006. In 2007 he placed in the top ten of the first ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. In 2008, Joseph again competed in the Ultimate contest and placed third, being officially recognized by Elvis Presley Enterprises. 1

Audition[]

Joseph Hall's audition in Episode 302 consisted of singing "Hound Dog" while dressed as Elvis Presley. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending Joseph to the Vegas Round.


Vegas Round[]

Joseph Hall was sorted into the "Impersonators" category in the Vegas Round. His performance in Episode 308 consisted of singing Elvis's "Heartbreak Hotel" and dancing. Joseph's audition was strong enough for the judges to include him in the Top 60 shortlist and to later send him to the Top 40 Quarterfinals in Episode 309.


Quarterfinals[]

Joseph Hall's Part 3 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 312 consisted of singing Elvis's "Jailhouse Rock" while dancing. Joseph received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 313 instead of Matthew Piazzi.

Semifinals[]

Joseph Hall's Part 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 315 consisted of singing Elvis's "Suspicious Minds" while dancing. Joseph finished in either fifth or sixth place in America's Vote. In the Judges' Choice, although Sharon Osbourne did not vote for him, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff both did, sending Joseph to the Top 10 in Episode 316 instead of Jonathan Burkin.

Top 10[]

Joseph Hall's Top 10 performance in Episode 317 consisted of singing Elvis's "A Little Less Conversation" while dancing. Joseph did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Final 5, eliminating him from the competition in Episode 318 instead of Queen Emily.

After the Show[]

In 2009, Joseph went coast to coast with the Elvis showcase, even jumping over the pond into Wales. Later that year Joseph was given the opportunity to perform in his own theatre in Branson, MO. In February of 2010, Joseph Hall and Team opened for their first season. After the success of their first season, Joseph Hall opened his new ELVIS Rock n Remember Tribute Show March 7th, 2011.

Located in the New Americana Theatre on the heart of the strip in Branson, Joseph Hall gets ready to produce 197 shows. 2012 opened unbelievably with dreams being realized on Elvis’s birthday when Joseph was named Grand Champion at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino at the Tribute to the King Contest in Milwaukee, WI.

Joseph's love for Elvis grows every day. His favorite song is “Suspicious Minds.” 2
