Josh Alfred's audition in Episode 1809 consisted of performing a speed-reading sketch. Sofia Vergara buzzed the act. All 4 judges voted "No". He came back later performing his "Fastest Rapper in the World" sketch, where Sofia buzzed him again, this time joined by Heidi Klum. All 4 judges voted "No" again. He returned a third time under the name Terrifying Jay attempting to perform card magic and control Terry Crews’ mind, this time Howie Mandel, Sofia, and Heidi buzzed him. The judges rejected him once again despite Simon Cowell voting “yes” this time around, eliminating him from the competition.
